Catalogue of the exhibition “Herrscher und athlet – Die Bronzen vom Quirinal” organised by the Akademisches Kunstmuseum, the Archaologisches Insitut of the University of Bonn and Olivetti on the occasion of the two-thousandth anniversary of the foundation of the city of Bonn. In the exhibition, two of the most spectacular works of ancient Rome were presented: the “boxer” and “The prince of the baths”, which were discovered in 1885 during the excavations on the hill of the Quirinale. The two works were presented for the first time outside Italy after extensive restoration work.
