DESCRIPTION:
Third issue of the Quaderni del restauro (“Restoration Notebooks”), it is the second dedicated to the restoration of the Brancacci Chapel in the Carmine church in Florence supported by Olivetti. The book presents the extensive historical research on the Brancacci family, starting with Piero di Piuvichese and ending with Felice Brancacci, in the social and political context of 14th–15th century Florence and expanding on what is already known about the construction of the chapel.
